I am a Nationally Certified and a State of Florida Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in Swedish, Sports, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy and Reflexology.
I graduated from Atlantic Academy School of Massage - New Smyrna Beach, FL and have worked in both private practice and in medical clinical settings with DO's, DC's, PT's and Acupuncturists for the past 14years.
As your LMT, I will incorporate a variety of styles and traditional approaches to massage and am known for being able to tune into the needs of my clients one body at a time. I can identify effective ways to actively reduce stress and tension, and am passionate about offering the art and science of massage to you, the client.I have been in private practice for 13 years. At TAMPAPROMASSAGE, my principal philosophy of massage therapy is that it is the act of manipulating the soft tissues of the body to normalize said tissues.
Massage has been shown to be helpful in conditions ranging from fibromyalgia to acute soft tissue injuries.
A session at TAMPAPROMASSAGE usually involves applying touch with some degree of pressure, so that the practitioner must use touch with sensitivity to determine the optimal amount of pressure appropriate for each person. Because I believe that touch is also a form of communication, sensitive touch can convey a sense of caring, which is an essential element in the therapeutic relationship. This in turn is optimized in your session with your needs at the heart of the session.
